During this pandemic, we are deluged with emails and texts, and audio and video calls. (And we thought our inboxes were overflowing before the coronavirus.)

Communication is now more important than ever for businesses and organizations messaging with employees, clients, customers and other centers-of-influence.

We'll share some ideas and best-practices for clear and concise communications amid the new business normal ... including navigating the ever blurrier line between our business and personal lives.

Carolyn Lavin is the president at Lavin Marketing Communications where she provides strategic advice and action for business professionals on writing and communication, public relations and social media, business-building and beyond.

Helpful hints for first time users of Zoom:
1. Please download a free version of zoom on your laptop or phone if you're not already using Zoom.
2. Test your microphone. If it's not working, adjust in settings. Tip: using headphones often requires a change in settings.
