The Groden Network will host the 45th annual John Trimble Fund for Autism Golf Tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 2, starting at 11:30 a.m. at Wannamoisett Country Club, 96 Hoyt Ave, Rumford. Two summer program series for kids – "Traveling Tuesdays" and "Thursdays in the Garden" – will offer activities in the inspiring settings of the Newport Mansions and Green Animals Topiary Garden. “Traveling Tuesdays” will occur each Tuesday from July 8 through August 19 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Each week, the program will take place at a different Preservation Society of Newport County property, where children will learn a little bit about history and connect their crafts and other activities to the
