BankNewport Gives more than $28,000 in Year-End Donations
and Packs 12,000 Meals for Local Agencies

Rhode Island’s families in need this holiday season
BankNewport is proud to announce year-end contributions of more than $28,000 to nonprofit organizations across Rhode Island to support essential areas such as food security, housing, and human services, ensuring a brighter holiday season for families in need.
BankNewport employees also participated in a meal-packaging project with the United Way of Rhode Island on December 4. At the event, forty-five employee volunteers packaged 12,000 meals which were distributed to local agencies, including the Central Falls Food Pantry at Progreso Latino, East Bay Community Action Program, Welcome House of South County (WARM Inc.), and West Bay Community Action Program.
