Missie Rose Benson Installed as 2026 President of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS®
Missie Rose Benson, a real estate agent with RE/MAX River’s Edge in East Providence, was installed as the 119th president of the Greater Providence Board of REALTORS® (GPBOR) on September 10, 2025, at its Annual Meeting at the Squantum Association. Since 2022, she has been an active leader within GPBOR, serving on its committees and Board of Directors, and will join the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors in 2026. Rose Benson holds several NAR designations (ABR, PSA, SRS, SRES), is licensed in RI, MA, and CT, and is a state-approved real estate instructor. She will officially assume the role on October 1, 2025 representing 2,300 members.
Also at the Annual Meeting, the 2025 REALTOR® of the Year Award was presented to John Dolan of Dolan O’Rourke Real Estate Services, the Lear Award was presented to Kevin Shepherd of Tidal Consultation, LLC, and Affiliate of the Year was awarded to John Geisser, Loan Officer with Shoreham Bank.
