Senior Information Technologist-Instructional Technology

Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Senior Information Technologist-Instructional Technology. This is a full-time, calendar year, continuing position.

The individual will provide and support the use of instructional technology and provide services that facilitate in integration of technology in teaching and learning across the curriculum. Provide support and troubleshooting for the learning management system (LMS). Manage the ticketing system for the Center for Instructional Technology group and liaise between the CIT and the IT Help Center.

Required qualifications:                                                                                                                                                            
-Bachelor’s degree                                                                                                                                                                    
-A minimum of four years of relevant experience in instructional technology preferably in a higher education environment                                                                                                                                                          
-Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills required.                                                                         
-Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) and possess strong interpersonal skills                                  
-Ability to document procedures and practices and work effectively with faculty administration staff and students.

Preferred qualifications:                                                                                                                                                                
-Instructional technology support; LMS support, Ticket tracking software (Team Dynamix) Kaltura Streaming.                                                                                                                                                                           
-Bilingual
