Assistant Professor Public and Community Health Nursing (Tenure Track)

The School of Nursing at Rhode Island College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Nursing specializing in medical-surgical nursing.  We seek candidates whose background, teaching interests, and research agenda will help foster excellence in teaching and diversity in the college.  

Rhode Island College is a regional comprehensive public college that serves approximately 6,400 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students through its five schools: the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, the School of Business, the School of Nursing and the School of Social Work. Established in 1854, we are Rhode Island’s first public institution of higher education.

Required qualifications:                                                                                                                                                            

  • Doctoral degree in Nursing                                                                                                                    
  • Relevant clinical experience in public and community health nursing 
  • Current RN License

Minimum Starting Salary with Terminal Degree:  $ $71,791.10
