Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Manager, Talent Acquisition & Retention. This is a full-time, calendar year, continuing position.
Join the HR team at Rhode Island College as the Manager, Talent Acquisition. In this newly created role you will lead the talent team in executing the talent strategy across all positions. This is a highly collaborative role with a strong focus on operational efficiency, team mentoring as well as promoting a positive image of RIC as an employer of choice.
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Human Resources, lead the administration and management of the college’s talent acquisition and engagement efforts. Provide strategic guidance and leadership on college wide recruitment efforts. Execute recruitment strategies and plans and play a critical role in ensuring academic and administrative units can select candidates that best meet their needs in support of the college’s mission, goals, and core values. Apply agile HR values and principles in defining recruiting products and services that deliver value to the customer.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in human resource employment, talent acquisition or related along with supervisory or team leadership
Demonstrated ability to use creative sourcing techniques (including but not limited to the use of social media, employee referrals, and networking for talent acquisition);
Demonstrated ability to design and develop recruitment plans.
Experience with HRIS and ATS, Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications:
Certifications: IPMA, CP or SCP certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or related certification. Application deadline: Open Until Filled
Proposed starting salary: $75,000 - $80,000
